I have admired so many of you crafters from afar , it has taken me a long time to drum up courage to join in ,but I am looking forwards to many happy hours of crafting with friends.

here is my latest card, its a Christmas card for Mum,she liked this new digi from Mo Manning and so I made the card just for her. I take my I-PAD into the nursing home and we chat, well I do the chatting and she just nods LOL. We talk about everything and I show her photos of the cards I have been making and what new things I have purchased etc.
I am entering this card into the DP2 Challenge HERE -
Good Morning everyone, I hope you are all all well today, and you can find a little time in your day to craft.
I have been up since the early hours , can you believe it I had only just started on my Christmas cards last week and so have had to get a move on today and try to finish them.
I have made over 50 of what I call BATCH cards, the special ones are not made yet so I must rush .
Here are a few of the batch card selection, as you can see I have been using my Lilli of The Valley stamps again. To make things easier I have used card blanks from Creative Crafting World their card blanks feature a cut out surround which provides an excellent border to your artwork they have various sizes of cards and in different lace patterns and styles. They have some packs on their website for buy one get one free at the moment. You can find them at
5" x 7" Elegant Ribbon Cards and Envelopes 250gsm - Rectangle 5 Pack
I adore this penguin stamp from Lili of The Valley
Here is the other BATCH card make I have used an 8x8 plain card blank I cut out an aperture in the front with my labels 1 die creating a frame for the front of the card with the next size die. I added a piece of snowflake acetate under the frame and stamped a Merry Christmas sentiment on the inside of the card.
I am heading of to make my special family and friends cards now, enjoy the rest of your weekend Hugs Elaine
Hello everyone, I hope you are all managing to stay cosy and warm and enjoying your weekend.
I finished my housework, stripped the beds and then after feeding the birds in the garden I took a coffee upstairs to my craft room and had a play. I adore these lilli of the valley stamps and have purchased another seven when they had a 20% off deal the other day.
Thankfully the postman arrived with my order when hubby was at work LOL.
Thank you all for your lovely comments you are all so kind , am sending the biggest hugs to you all , Elaine x
Hello Everyone I hope you are all safe and warm . What dreadful weather in the Uk this evening . My heart goes out to all of those people driven from their homes because of the storm surge. We have just had a blackout here , no electricity for a while but we are okay now, thank fully . I had a great day CLEANING , not..... well it has to be done sometimes LOL . When all was done I had a bit of a craft session . I bought some fabulous stamps from Lilli 0f the Valley last month and have been trying them out . The pretty papers are also bought from lili of the valley , they are Nit Wit 8x8 papers. Hugs Elaine
Hello everyone , I hope you are all well . I guess you are wondering where I have been.?
Mum was rushed into hospital yet again and yet again survived and is now back in the nursing home.
As things are a little quieter now and dad is starting to improve I can do a little crafting again YEAH ......
Okay well the next two cards have been a bit rushed and have been made today , I found out this morning that my Niece is engaged and had to make two cards very quickly to post tomorrow. I have made one from me and my hubby, and one from Mum and Dad . I have created and cut out two verses so that my Mum can choose which card and verse she would like to send to my niece and her partner. I have used the black and white sketch pads from Lili of The Valley along with their fabulous 8x8 Nit Wit Papers.
