Hello everyone , I must tell you that I am feeling so much better today , the awful swelling on my face has gone down a lot and its just my eye which is sore now. I have been taking copious amounts of penicillin etc, and hopefully I have stopped anything serious happening, the doctors mentioned that the cellulitis may move to the brain if the medication was not full on.
Thank you all for your lovely comments its so nice to know you are all there.
Mum is doing okay after her 4th stroke , she is actually sitting up in a chair today , sadly with each stroke she loses a bit of her brain , its sad to see her decline like this , I just dont want to see her in any pain.
I have been crafting today as my lovely Dad has bought me a Craft Dragon, and it arrived this morning.
I can now use all of my stamps YEAH !!! this impress machine stamps them up for you.
I cannot use my right hand because of damaged nerves and so its quite difficult for me to stamp pristine images one handed . I am so thrilled with my Craft Dragon .
Hugs Elaine
Here is my card for today using a rubber stamp from Sat Canary, stamped by my Craft Dragon ....of course .

Here again with another colour combo.
Good morning Everyone,
My card today has been made using a "Bestie" digital image from Sherri Baldy. I used this image the other day in another colour combination.
We received a phone call last night from the owner of the house we are renting.
Last month he said he was going to let us stay for a further two years but sadly he has just lost his job and has to come straight back to the UK.
That means we now have to vacate this house by 14th August. YUK !
I am going to be rushing around looking for another property to move into, and this time we have Dad and his dog with us , so its not going to be easy.
I am not looking forward to all that packing up.................heaven's what a mess .
I guess I will be so busy in the next few weeks that my crafting will suffer and especially when we move as I will be off-line for a short time .
I hope you are all well , biggest hugs Elaine

Pear Green is the colour
Good Morning everyone ,
It looks like a dull day ahead , but as I am going to be very busy today I thought I would post early.
Here is my card for today, I have used a lovely " Bestie" image from Sherri Baldy
You can find her and lots more "Besties" images HERE.
I used a topper from a Crafters Companion CD "Frou Frou" I took the topper into my Serif Craft Artist 2 so I could add the digi stamp image over the top ( I first removed the white surround from the digi stamp ) . Once I had laid the digi stamp over the top of the Frou Frou coloured pre-coloured topper I added the Birthday Wishes text in white, I then printed it out and coloured the digital image in with a mix of promarkers ( Pear Green and Baby Pink ) and a mix of copics pens to finish.
I cut out a border using spellbinders dies and then used the "waste" from the border to place around the topper. Luckily I had some ribbon to match ...phew !!
Hugs Elaine

Summer Yellow
Hello Everyone , I hope that you are all well and enjoying our "Summer".
Here is a card I made today I used a backing paper from a
"My Craft Studio" CD , called "Bunny Snuffles" .
I coloured a lovely digi stamp drawn by the fab artist Sherri Baldy .
I used a card blank from Creative Crafting World ,
and I printed the backing paper straight on to the card blank.
I printed my digi stamp onto the same backing paper, and cut it all out with an oval die.
I used promarkers to colour the image and some glitter to highlight.
Its teaming with rain here in the North West today so its been a good excuse to craft all day .
Hugs Elaine

Think Pink Challenge In Memory of Dawn Austin .
As you all know Crafting for All Seasons Challenge has been a great success , this fabulous challenge was started by Dawn Austin and two years ago Carol joined her to run the challenge.
Dawn had been very bravely battling breast cancer for some time, never giving up hope that she would beat it or that a cure would be found in time to save her.
Sadly this was not to be and Dawn lost her brave fight on 5th February this year.
Carol has pledged that she will continue to run the challenge in place of Dawn for as long as is possible, and this week , the second year anniversary of the start of this challenge blog Carol has a special challenge to honour Dawn and her fight against breast cancer.
I was a member of the CRAFTING FOR ALL SEASONS Design Team for a short while and left them in January this year. Carol has asked all prior DT members to make a special card for this challenge and here is my card in honour of Dawn.
